Tile and Grout

Clean your tile floors and grout on a daily/weekly basis with a damp mop. This will help maintain the appearance of your floor for a longer period of time. Never use a detergent or soap because it can damage the surface and promote the growth of mildew.

Even a small woman in stiletto heels can exert more than 2,000lb per square inch of pressure when walking. This amount of pressure can easily dent both wood and vinyl floors and even chip ceramic tile. Using protective mats will help to enhance the lifetime of your floors.

This is a great idea in high traffic areas and entry ways. Using protective pads under furniture and heavy objects is a great idea to avoid scratching and damage.
